Michele Gallante

Researcher at the Global Cyber Security Center


Michele Gallante is a practicing lawyer and member of the lawyers’ order in Rome. After getting his Law degree at the University of Rome, he developed a research thesis with the title “Legal dilemmas regarding the use of drones in armed conflicts” at the University of Washington, Law Department, Seattle, USA. After these studies, he obtained a Master Degree in “Homeland Security” at the university campus Bio-Medico of Rome, where he deepened his knowledge concerning security issues, data protection and confidentiality. At present he is a researcher at the Global Cyber Security Center (funded by Poste Italiane), on legal issues concerning the safety of data processing.
